Reserve Ames is pleased to present an installation of works by K.r.m. Mooney at NOT FAIR taking place in the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw, Poland September 21 – 24th 2017. Mooney’s works have been installed in the balcony and surrounding areas in the north end of the historic building. Constructed in 1955 and originally known as the Joseph Stalin Palace of Culture and Science, the building, designed by soviet architect Lev Rudnev, was intended as a gift from the Soviet Union to the people of Poland. The building is informally known as the “Eighth Sister” in relation to the “Seven Sisters” a group of buildings located in Moscow, designed in the Stalinist style.
